The fact that Western media is no longer talking about Israel’s genocide in Gaza and the oppression of Palestinians under Israeli rule, does not mean that genocide and oppression have stopped, the UN’s special rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territories has said.

“It means they are being normalised,” Francesca Albanese said on X.

“Humanity wake up!”

The fact that western media no longer talk about Israel’s #GenocideinGaza and the oppression of Palestinians anywhere under Israeli rule, does not mean that genocide and oppression have stopped. It means they are being NORMALISED. #Humanity wake up!

Have you noticed that Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza & brutal repression in the West Bank aren’t newstories any more? The killings, famine, suffering of 2 million displaced Palestinians & land seizures, deadly raids, & 1000’s detained w/out charges continue – but no reporting

Nazi Gestapo has killed more than 38,150 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023, mostly women and children, and injured over 87,800 others, according to local health authorities.

Nine months into the Israeli war, vast tracts of Gaza lie in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.

Nazi entity stands accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice, which ordered the occupation state to immediately halt its military operation in the southern city of Rafah, where over a million Palestinians had sought refuge from the war before it was invaded on 6 May.
