All eyes on the ‘enemy within’ – adjustments to PREVENT in the wake of Al Aqsa Flood

Posted by: John Phoenix “The state is a product and a manifestation of the irreconcilability of class antagonisms. The state arises where, when and insofar as class antagonism objectively cannot be reconciled. And, conversely, the existence of the state proves that the class antagonisms are irreconcilable” (V.I. Lenin, The State and Revolution), Workers within the state machinery, particularly schools, are becoming increasingly aware of the British state’s growing anxiety over pro-Palestine (specifically pro-Palestinian Resistance) sentiments within the UK. The state has ramped up its vigilance regarding such sentiments, culminating in it making updates and adjustments to the PREVENT strategy guidelines in February/March 2024.  The most fundamental changes, are in e...

OBITUARY – Yahya Sinwar

Posted by: John Phoenix By Scott Ritter, reproduced with thanks Yahya Sinwar was killed fighting Israeli soldiers in the ruins of Gaza. His death will serve as an inspiration for Palestinians for years to come. If there is to be a free and independent Palestine, it will be because of the sacrifice made by Yahya Sinwar in the cause of its creation. He is the true father of Palestine. He was a child of the camps, born into captivity in the Gazan Khan Younis refugee camp, the son of Palestinian citizens of Majdal ‘Asqalan (present-day Ashkelon) who were forcibly driven from their homes by Israeli forces in 1948 in what is referred to as the Nakba, or catastrophe. He was one of the first to join Hamas when it broke away from the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood...

The promise of BRICS

Posted by: John Phoenix Since the organisation now known as BRICS was founded in 2009 it has evolved considerably under the pressure of the world crisis of imperialism.  Founded as a group initially consisting of Brazil, Russia, India and the Peoples Republic of China (South Africa joined in 2010), it arose out of a shared frustration on the part of the four founding members of the group at the dominance of the US in terms of its control over most of the international institutions that currently exist, such as the UN, IMF, World Bank and World Trade Organisation. The foundation of BRICS and its subsequent expansions have seen it evolve into an alternative international organisation that countries are now queueing up to join as US dominance of the international financial an...

Zionist Biden leaves behind a legacy of blood and war money

Posted by: John Phoenix And now that he has nothing to lose, the president whose supposed empathy was praised by sycophantic media as a superpower, has decided to throw all of humanity to the brink of annihilation. Joachim Hagopian has argued that President Joe Biden is currently a “lame duck” leader at this juncture, suggesting that he has limited control over major decisions. One can look at moments in his recent speeches–particularly when he started wandering into the Amazon reainforest–which highlight his lack of focus. It has been suggested that significant decisions, such as those regarding the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, may be influenced by others in his administration. We would argue that the 400 Jewish elites he has in his administration has a way in which the Ukraine...
