The July Uprising in Bangladesh

On the 5th of August, 2024, Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled to India. Inthis way the fifteen and a half years of fascist Awami rule has ended inBangladesh. The July uprising was the most extensive, profound andaggressive event against the rulers in the series of people’s uprising thathave taken place here since 1952.
After this mass uprising, not only Sheikh Hasina, but the top floor,middle floor, and even the bottom floor leaders and workers at all levelsof her party left the country or went into hiding inside the countryfearing people’s attack. Many have been caught by the police. Manyothers were killed or seriously injured by the angry mob. Suchpredicament of the rulers has never been seen after any other massuprising in Bangladesh.
