On Friday, citizens confronted an attack carried out by dozens of settlers on the village of Umm Safa, north of the city of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that dozens of settlers from the “Ataeret” settlement, built on citizens’ lands in the village of Umm Safa, attacked the outskirts of the village and cut off water lines, before unarmed citizens confronted them and forced them to withdraw.

Clashes also erupted with the Israeli occupation forces, today, Friday, in the village of Umm Safa, north of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that the clashes were concentrated in the middle of the village, during which the occupation soldiers fired bullets, sound bombs and toxic gas at the young men, without any injuries being reported.

A number of citizens were injured today, Friday, as a result of the attack by settlers and Israeli occupation forces on them in Masafer Yatta and the city of Hebron.
Local sources reported that settlers attacked the village of Lasfir in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, and assaulted the elderly Mahmoud Abu Qubaita, causing him bruises and wounds. They also caused damage to citizens’ property.
On Shuhada Street in the center of Hebron, occupation soldiers stationed at a military checkpoint assaulted citizens Abdullah Abu Aisha and Amir Al-Fakhouri while they were trying to reach their homes in Tel Rumeida.
In the same context, the occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, amidst the firing of bullets and tear gas bombs at citizens’ homes.
Meanwhile, a number of citizens suffered from suffocation, today, Friday, during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces near Mount Sabih in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.
Eyewitnesses reported that the clashes erupted after the occupation forces stormed Abu Subaih Mountain, amidst the firing of live and rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs and toxic gas, which led to a number of citizens suffering from suffocation.
The residents of Beita performed Friday prayers on the summit of Mount Sabih at the invitation of the factional coordination committee in the town. It is noteworthy that the occupation’s mini-cabinet approved the legalization of the “Avitar” colonial outpost built on the mountain, along with four other colonial outposts in the West Bank.
Mount Sabih is affiliated with the towns of Beita and Qabalan and the village of Yatma, south of Nablus, and is witnessing peaceful popular resistance activities against the establishment of the “Avitar” colonial outpost.
