The Israeli occupation authorities tightened their measures around the Old City of occupied Jerusalem and at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, obstructing the arrival of worshipers to perform the noon prayer in Al-Aqsa and preventing others from entering it.

Local sources reported that the occupation soldiers and police officers obstructed the entry of worshipers through Bab al-Asbat and prevented a number of young men from entering the mosque to perform Friday prayers, amid a state of alert and heavy deployment of occupation forces.

The occupation forces stopped a number of young men and obstructed their access to Al-Aqsa Mosque on Al-Wad Road in the Old City of Jerusalem and through Bab Al-Qattanin, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

A number of those deported from Al-Aqsa Mosque performed Friday prayers on the Mujahideen Road.
