“Our words remain like wax dolls, until if we die in their path, the spirit will be breathed into them and life will be written for them.” This is an inscription left by the martyr Sayyid Qutb – may God have mercy on him – but today it returns as a living testimony to the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was martyred in a Zionist raid while he was in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
“نحن نستشعر ثقل هذه المسؤولية.. ونحن مستعدين للشهادة في سبيل الله وفي سبيل كرامة الأمة والشعب الفلسطيني”.. “أبرز كلمات القائد الشهيد إسماعيل هنية قبل رحيله”.
Moments after the announcement of the martyrdom of Commander Haniyeh – may God have mercy on him – his words, pictures, recitation of the Qur’an, chanting, tears and smiles ignited like wildfire, bringing life and spirit back to life, even though some of them date back decades.
The Palestinian Media Center monitored what bloggers and activists circulated about this great legacy left by the martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh, who sacrificed his soul for everything he believed in and what he used to motivate the Palestinian people, the nation, and the resistance to continue on the path until liberation, no matter the sacrifices, and for his words and positions to remain a light that illuminates those who want to walk this path, the end of which was martyrdom for the sake of God.
We will not recognize Israel
One of the most prominent clips widely circulated by bloggers, according to the monitoring of the Palestinian Media Center, is the moment in which the martyred leader announces the resistance’s absolute refusal to recognize the Zionist entity.
In it, the martyr leader Haniyeh speaks: I tell you, with honesty for which we will be asked before God, with the steadfastness of men, and the pledge of martyrs, that we will not recognize…we will not recognize…we will not recognize Israel.
willingness to pay the price
Another clip that was circulated, while he was urging people to take the initiative and be brave in resisting the enemy and standing firm in the face of the ongoing aggression after October 7, and not to stand still for long at the departure of the leaders who gave their lives on this path, saying: “Tomorrow you will see Abu al-Abd as a martyr, go ahead and do not hesitate.”
Leader Haniyeh added: “Our blood is a sacrifice for our religion, our Jerusalem, and our Al-Aqsa Mosque, and we, my brothers, have pledged allegiance to God on that.”
He explains the nature of the painful scene, saying: “Our journey is still long and our battle is very harsh, but if you are suffering, they are suffering as you are suffering, and you hope from God what they do not hope for.”
In an interview circulated by bloggers and activists, Haniyeh – may God have mercy on him – said that we feel the weight of the trust and responsibility of the Palestinian cause, and this is a responsibility that has prices, and we are prepared for these prices.
A message to the families of the martyrs
As the battle intensified and the number of martyrs increased, and at the height of the brutal aggression, the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh came out, addressing the people of Gaza and the families of the martyrs in particular, saying: O people of Gaza, you who send off martyrs at every moment, you who send out martyrs in groups to the Most Merciful as delegations, do not be sad or grieve, you are the highest, you are superior with your faith, your resistance, your oath, your jihad, your honor, your people and your nation.
He added: Peace be upon you, O pure and righteous martyrs, peace be upon you, peace be upon you, O Gaza, O witness of the age, and upon the age, O bearer of dignity, peace be upon you, families of the martyrs, O families of patience and reward.
Bloggers also circulated a picture of the challenge presented by the martyred leader Haniyeh to the occupation when he said, in front of his destroyed house in the Shati refugee camp: “As Prime Minister, I am honored to live in the Shati refugee camp.”

We kneel only to God
Bloggers widely circulated the words of the martyr leader – may God have mercy on him – in which he sent messages of steadfastness and defiance to all who stand in the way of the hopes of the people of Gaza and Palestine, saying: “If the decision is to bring Gaza and the Palestinian decision to its knees, then our decision is that we kneel only to God.”
Haniyeh added, “And all decision-makers inside and outside Palestine must pick up the message… Yes, we kneel only to God. We are a people who love death as our enemies love life. We love martyrdom for what the leaders died for.”
Patience for the martyrdom of his family
In a widely circulated clip, the martyred leader Haniyeh describes his feelings after the martyrdom of a large number of his family members, saying: I thank God and praise Him for this honor and this great dignity with which He honored us and with which He honored us with the martyrdom of my three sons and some of the grandchildren who joined the sons of my brother and sister and cousins, and the number reached sixty martyrs.
He added: Today, Hazem, Amir, and Mohammed, along with some of their sons, join this constellation and the caravan of honor, pride, and martyrdom. I thank God Almighty for this great outcome.
He continues by saying: We are a people who live in this land and on this land to write life for ourselves and for all the free people in this nation. Yes, with the blood of the martyrs, the wounds of the wounded, and the pain, we will, God willing, create hopes, create the future, and create independence and freedom for our people, our cause, and our nation.
the last message
The last words of the martyred leader Haniyeh spread on social media, urging an international day to support Palestine.
Haniyeh said: “We look forward to the third of August being a pivotal, visible and effective day in all parts of Palestine, in the refugee camps and diaspora, in our Arab and Islamic world, and among all free people in the world, in order to support our people in the Gaza Strip and our free prisoners in the occupation’s prisons.”
He concluded by saying: “Let us make this day the beginning of a global uprising in support of Gaza.”

Then the martyred leader asks them to prostrate in gratitude to God for this victory, “Oh God, honor us with your glory and victory for our people and our nation… God is Great.”
Memories of the flower meadow
Bloggers and activists also recalled moments of the martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh during his deportation trip to Marj al-Zuhur in southern Lebanon with hundreds of leaders from the Palestinian people, which established a different phase of resistance later on.

A life full of humility

One of the bloggers on the X platform says in describing the late great Ismail Haniyeh: He lived as a Palestinian and died as Palestinians usually die.

He attached to his post a picture of the martyr Ismail Haniyeh wearing a white robe and sitting in front of his house with all humility, when he was the head of the Palestinian government, while the children in the “neighborhood” were playing and having fun around him with all comfort.
Bloggers and activists widely circulated fragrant recitations of verses from the Holy Quran in the beautiful voice of the martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh.
And the martyr leader recites in those passages: (And never think of those who are killed in the way of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, rejoicing in what Allah has given them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings for those who have not yet joined them from behind them that there is no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. They receive good tidings of favor from Allah and bounty, and that Allah does not allow the reward of the believers to be lost.)

Bloggers also circulated one of the quotes they described as “immortal,” in which the martyred leader says:
“A movement whose leaders and founders were martyred for the dignity of our people and our nation will never be defeated, and these attacks will only make it stronger, more resilient, and more determined.”

A symbol of pride despite sitting on the sidewalk
In a famous photo of him at the moment he was prevented from entering Gaza and waiting on the sidewalk at the crossing, one of the bloggers says: Israel’s friends and slaves tried to humiliate him, but God raised his value and chose him as a martyr next to him.
He added: In the picture, Ismail Haniyeh waits at the Rafah crossing gate to be allowed to return to Gaza after his first foreign tour since assuming the position of Prime Minister in January 2006.

Supporting the Messenger of God
The World Association of the Supporters of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, published a speech by the martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh during his visit to the association’s headquarters in Istanbul.
He stressed that the meeting brought up the major issues of the nation, foremost among which is supporting the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, defending his protection, and preserving this eternal example that guides the legions of the nation with guidance and insight on its path, as well as what is happening in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque and what is happening on the land of Palestine, which is the central issue of the nation.
In his speech, he expressed his hope that the meeting at Al-Aqsa Mosque would be liberating.
Beautiful voice in the anthem
Bloggers and activists circulated video clips in which the martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh presents short chanting clips that promote the values of victory, martyrdom, liberation, and the hope that Palestine will return to the bosom of the Arabs, Muslims, and the people of Palestine.
The lyrics of the anthem he chants say: I swear by God Almighty that you will return, oh home. In the name of religion, the traitor flees Palestine. We walked the path, we braved the difficult, we crossed the borders, and no matter how many thorns, we will be patient with the bitter, you will return, oh home.
I know my path and my goal
Palestinian journalist Adham Abu Salmiya says: I am moving forward and I know my path and my goal.. and death dances for me at every turn. May God have mercy on a man who was true to God, and God was true to him.. He departed to his Lord, satisfied and content, struggling. He led the Palestinian resistance with all courage in the most delicate and difficult stations. He gave everything he had for the sake of God, and here he is ending his life as a martyr, facing forward and not retreating.
