On the night of June 17, 2025, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the start of the ninth wave of Operation True Promise 3 against Israel.
The attack will continue until dawn and will include a massive launch of ballistic missiles and drones, according to Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency. The IRGC announcement comes amid an ongoing conflict sparked by Israel’s Operation Rising Lion, launched on June 13 to neutralize Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure. The escalation threatens to spiral into a full-scale regional war, alarming the international community and destabilizing global markets.
According to Reuters, Iran has launched more than 700 missiles and drones at Israel since the start of the conflict, hitting Tel Aviv, Haifa and military bases including Ramat David.
The Times of Israel reports that Iranian strikes killed 47 people in Israel, including civilians, while Israeli strikes killed more than 400 people in Iran, according to the Tasnim news agency. The ninth wave of Operation True Promise 3, according to an IRGC spokesman, includes the use of new Shahed-107 loitering munitions with a range of up to 1,500 km, allowing Iran to threaten not only Israel but also other regional targets.
Iran Destroys Israel’s Largest Oil Refinery: It No Longer Works
The escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran has reached a new peak: the largest oil refinery of the Bazan Group in Haifa has completely stopped operations after a massive missile attack by Iran. This was reported by the Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth, citing an official statement from the company.

The attack, which occurred on the night of June 17, 2025, damaged a power plant that is essential for supplying energy to the refinery’s production facilities, causing all facilities in the complex to close.
According to Israeli TV station Channel 14, the situation at the plant is assessed as critical: the infrastructure has suffered significant damage and three employees were killed in the attack.
The Bazan Group notified the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange of the suspension of operations, noting that in addition to the power plant, other facilities were also damaged, which exacerbates the crisis in the Israeli energy sector.
UPDATE ON JUNE, 16, 2025
Iran shoots down many IAF Jets and MQ-9 Reaper drone launched from Israel near Iraqi border
ONGOING UPDATES BELOW

«Iranian air defenses have shot down Israel’s US-made MQ-9 Reaper drone, Iran’s state broadcaster reported. According to the media outlet, the aerial target was destroyed over the city of Dehloran near the Iran-Iraq border» TASS Russian News agency has reported today.
Overnight, Iran launched five missile strikes, hitting more than 150 targets, including air bases of Israel Israeli Air Force with F-35, F-16 and F-15 fighter jets (first downing pics here), as well as the country’s main military headquarters, the Kiryat complex, which is called the Israeli equivalent of the Pentagon. According to Fox News, one of the buildings in the complex was seriously damaged.

Journalists report that as a result of the attacks, one of the neighborhoods was almost wiped off the face of the earth, and rescuers are still sorting through the rubble in search of victims. Despite the operation of missile defense systems, including the Iron Dome, David’s Sling and THAAD, some of the missiles broke through, causing significant damage.
An IDF ammunition and fuel depot or an ARROW-2/3 anti-missile system launcher in Israel was hit, as can be seen from the spectacular secondary detonation on the horizon. The affected object is probably located on the territory of one of the Hel Haavir airbases. We are waiting for details.
The newest Soleimani Iranian Missile which Breached Iron Dome
The gutted buildings of Tel Aviv or Bat Yam were not a given. In recent years, Israeli anti-aircraft protection had almost always spared the main cities of the Jewish state.
In the war between Israel and Iran, however, something has changed, thanks above all to a new-generation ballistic missile that Iran presented just over a month ago: the ‘Soleimani’, named in honor of General Qassem Soleimani, leader of the Quds Forces and killed in January 2020 by a US drone on the orders of Donald Trump himself.
The ballistic missile was initially presented in August 2020. When the ayatollahs revealed it to the public, they also issued a warning: “The Soleimani can also hit American bases in the Middle East.”

An advanced guided ballistic missile, called Haj Qassem, was likely used to strike Haifa in response to Israel’s Operation Rising Lion,
Alexei Borzenko, veteran military journalist, tells Sputnik. “At that moment, Haifa was hit by 40 rockets. But the Iron Dome couldn’t handle it, and many missiles broke through,” the expert says.
“You have to understand that numbers matter a lot when it comes to air defense,” Borzenko continues. “Five missiles — shot down. Ten — shot down. Forty — some get through. But if it’s 100, or 200, or 1,000 missiles, the Iron Dome won’t cope.”
Most rockets launched by Iran during the latest wave are believed to be 20–30 years old. However, Haj Qassem, which was unveiled in 2020, is one of the newest.
It is a medium-range ballistic missile with a two-stage system powered by solid fuel. Iranian officials said at the time that the Qassem Soleimani has a range of about 1,200 kilometers, has increased resistance to guidance and countermeasures, and is equipped with an advanced navigation system that allows it to precisely hit targets and counter electronic warfare.
This hypersonic rockets is very powerful because can carry a 500-kilogram warhead, it’s capable of evading radar detection and very difficult to intercept because it re-enters the atmosphere at Mach 12, hits targets at Mach 5.
Haifa power plant was seen engulfed in flames following an Iranian missile strike
ONGOING UPDATES BELOW
by Carlo Domenico Cristofori
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched a fresh wave of missile strikes – the eighth since Friday – against the occupied territories as part of “Operation True Promise III.”
At approximately 4:50 a.m. local time on Monday, hundreds of missiles were fired from Iran toward strategic and sensitive targets in Tel Aviv and Haifa. Sirens blared across the occupied territories as Israeli authorities ordered settlers to immediately seek refuge in underground shelters, according to Israeli media reports.
Videos circulating on social media captured Iranian missiles breaching multiple layers of Israel’s air defense systems to strike their designated targets.
Among the sites hit, the Haifa power plant was seen engulfed in flames following an Iranian missile strike, as shown in a widely shared video. Located in the northern occupied territories, Haifa power plant is a critical component of the Zionist entity’s energy infrastructure and has come under a series of attacks since October 7, 2023.
The plant, guarded by the much-hyped Arrow 3 air defense system, was attacked and destroyed by an Iranian missile attack, according to Israeli media.

According to the Israeli media reports, the occupation army called on settlers not to film the locations where missiles made impact and created scenes of devastation. A massive power outage was reported across central parts of the occupied territories shortly after Iranian missiles struck their designated targets, plunging several areas into darkness.

One of the missiles reportedly hit a high-rise building in Ramat Gan, causing severe structural damage. In Petah Tikva, municipal officials confirmed that a missile struck a building there as well, prompting emergency and rescue teams to rush to the scene to provide medical assistance.
Thirteen Israelis killed in Iranian strikes
Israel and Iran continued mutual attacks throughout Saturday and into Sunday, marking an unprecedented level of open hostilities. The IDF struck several energy sites, including a refinery in South Pars—the world’s largest natural gas field—and an oil depot in Tehran.
Thirteen people have been killed in Iranian strikes on Israel since Friday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
Three children were among the 13 victims, Netanyahu said in a press release. There were also “nine seriously injured, 30 moderately injured and 341 slightly injured,” after another night of warning sirens across the country due to Iranian missile strikes, in response to Israel’s massive assault on the Islamic Republic.
New Wave of Ballistic Missiles: Ben Gurion Airport on Fire
Iran has launched a second wave of ballistic missiles on Sunday, targeting wide areas in the occupied territories, as it continues its retaliation against the Israeli aggressions on its soil: at least 50 ballistic missiles were launched from Tehran towards Israel.
The new round of the large-scale military operation began on Sunday as huge explosions were heard in occupied areas of the upper and lower Galilee, Haifa, Afula, and Nazareth.
Iranian hypersonic missiles directly hit the strategic Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv: a major fire was reported at Israel’s main airport,
A spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces issued a stark warning to Zionists, urging them to leave the occupied Palestinian territories, as no part of the region would remain safe for them.
Israel detonated car bombs in Tehran: 200 vixctims
The Iranian news agency Irna reported that “Israel detonated car bombs in Tehran, following the success of Iranian air defense in repelling the wave of attacks.” According to the same source, after the explosion of five explosive devices in different areas of Tehran.
In Iran, since the beginning of the conflict with Israel, more than 200 victims have been reported. Local security sources reported that Israeli raids and intelligence actions on Iranian territory have also caused about 650 injuries.
The IDF killed Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps intelligence chief Brigadier General Mohammad Kazemi, along with his deputy, General Hassan Mohaqiq, Benjamin Netanyahu has claimed to Fox News.
At least 14 Iranian scientists have been killed in Israeli attacks since Friday, including in car bombs, Reuters wrote, citing two sources from the Gulf states.
Israel strikes building belonging to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, says deputy foreign minister
Israel has struck one of the buildings belonging to the Foreign Ministry, Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh has said.
“Israel deliberately and ruthlessly struck one of the buildings belonging to the Iranian Foreign Ministry. <…> Several civilians were injured, including a number of my colleagues,” he wrote on his social media page.
The IDF confirmed that the Israeli Air Force bombed an Iranian refueling plane at Mashhad airport in northeastern Iran, some 2,300 kilometers from Israel, marking “the most distant attack since the start of the operation.”
Israel-Iran clash turns into oil war over refinery attacks
Iran launched more missiles at Tel Aviv, some hitting building blocks among which a government one, and also attacked Haifa, where an oil refinery was reportedly struck (VIDEO BELOW).
So a military clash is now turning into a war over energy production that could create enormous economic consequences for the entire world by destabilizing the oil market especially if Iran decides to close the Strait of Hormuz as it has already threatened to do.
According to Al Mayadeen Lebanes newspaper, the Bazan Petroleum Company reported to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange that Iranian missiles overnight had inflicted localized damage to pipelines and transmission lines at its Haifa Bay complex.
According to company statements, refining operations are continuing, but several facilities on-site were temporarily shut down. The company is currently assessing the impact of the damage on overall operations and working to resume activity at affected units.

Missile arsenals will decide the conflict, which could become global and nuclear
The outcome of the war, after the legendary Israeli anti-missile shield Iron-Dome has been breached several times by Iranian missiles, will obviously depend on diplomacy, which seems to have little chance as in Ukraine in the face of speculation by the Weapons Lobby that guides Western leaders, but above all on the reserves of arsenals.
«The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (I.R.G.C.) has warned that Iran’s military response will escalate if Israeli hostilities persist. The I.R.G.C. said in a statement on Sunday that it had targeted military fuel infrastructure of the Israeli regime in retaliation for the regime’s strikes».IRNA agency has reported.
The conflict could even become global if USA (read below last paraghaph) and NATO do not limit themselves to helping Tel Aviv intercept Iranian rockets but launch direct attacks, forcing Russia to intervene in support of Tehran.
But it could also become atomic if the Zionist regime of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is hit by the 2,000 missiles promised by Iran and decides to use low-yield tactical nuclear bombs.
90 Nuclear Warheads in the Hands of the Genocidal Criminal in Gaza
In that case, it will finally be discovered whether Iran already has atomic warheads, built by it or supplied by Moscow…
Netanyahu, who has been hit by an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court in The Hague for war crimes and accused of genocide by many world nations and even by Catholic bishops, in fact owns at least 90 atomic warheads.
But he can, although now certified as an international criminal, because he is a friend of the USA and NATO.
While Iran, which feels threatened by the Zionist regime because of Israel’s continuous attacks on Syria, Lebanon and Yemen (which have intensified after the Arab Spring fomented by the Atlantic Alliance), is prohibited from this possibility because it is considered a “rogue state” by the Western Masonic-Zionist mainstream.
The IRGC Missiles against Haifa Oil Refineries
For the second day, air raid sirens sounded across the occupied Palestinian territories on Saturday evening following missile launches from Iran, as the Israeli Home Front Command instructed settlers to remain in shelters.
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps announced that their Aerospace forces launched a new complex operation, involving both drones and missiles. The IRGC’s Aerospace forces used Imad, Badr, and Khaybar missiles and drones in its latest attacks on Tel Aviv and Haifa, launching a wave of attacks as part of Operation True Promise 3.
Israeli media confirmed that the Iranian missiles targeted facilities in Haifa, in the north of occupied Palestine, where loud explosions were heard across the city after several rockets struck. Fires reportedly broke out across different facilities in Haifa, including oil refineries.

One of the videos showed a massive fire breaking out at the Haifa oil refinery upon the impact of a barrage of Iranian missiles, which illuminated the night sky across the occupied territories. Images showed a massive blaze at the Haifa oil refinery, with thick black smoke billowing into the sky, with preliminary reports suggesting that the ensuing blaze is emitting toxic chemicals into the air.
In the northern occupied territories, missile sirens sounded in the Upper Galilee and Western Galilee regions, as well as in the city of Nazareth and its surrounding areas, and the city of Afula. According to Israeli media reports, Iranian precision-guided missiles struck the regime’s vital electricity infrastructure, making it dysfunctional.
The fresh attacks caused widespread disruption in the power distribution network in the central regions of the occupied territories and disabled part of the regime’s critical infrastructure.
The massive power outage has been reported in several Zionist settlements in Galilee in northern occupied Palestine amid the Iranian retaliatory operation.
Some Hebrew media reports said ammonia tanks in Haifa were also successfully targeted by missiles, with fire and plumes of smoke noticed in several areas, located in northern occupied Palestine.
Some media reports have described tonight’s attack by Iran as the “largest missile attack” ever carried out by the Iranian armed forces against the occupied territories.
The Israel Bombs against South Pars gas field and Shahran Oil Depot
In response to the unfolding situation, Iran’s Civil Aviation Authority extended the closure of national airspace until 3 p.m. local time on Sunday, citing security and operational concerns.
Major General Qader Rahimzadeh, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base, announced late Saturday that Iran had successfully intercepted and shot down 10 hostile aerial projectiles believed to belong to the Israeli regime.
This comes after Israeli forces reportedly struck the South Pars gas field in southern Iran earlier in the night, igniting fires at the site, according to Fars News Agency.
On the night of June 15, 2025, Tehran was rocked by a powerful explosion, followed by a massive fire at the Shahran oil depot, located on the western outskirts of the city.
According to Iranian media, the attack was carried out by the Israeli Air Force in response to Iran’s missile attacks on Israel the previous day. The conflict between the two countries quickly turned into a full-scale confrontation, threatening the stability of the entire region.
The fire engulfed several tanks, causing significant damage and disruption to fuel supplies. According to preliminary data, at least 25 people were killed in the attack, while more than 150 were injured.
Iran’s threat to close the Strait of Hormuz, through which up to 30% of the world’s oil passes, caused Brent prices to rise by 13% to $78.5 per barrel. JPMorgan predicts that the blockade could push prices to $250
