Narco-Corruption, ISIS 3.0, and the Terror Drone Attack That Never Happened

NOVANEWS Pentagon Documents Detail Dystopian Dangers By Nick Turse Tom Dispatch   For almost 20 years, U.S. drone warfare was largely one-sided. Unlike Afghans and Yemenis, Iraqis and Somalis, Americans never had to worry about lethal robots hovering overhead and raining down missiles. Until, that is, one appeared in the skies above Florida. But that’s a story for later. For now, let’s focus on a 2017 executive order issued by President Trump, part of his second attempt at a travel ban directed primarily at citizens of Muslim-majority nations. It begins: “It is the policy of the United States to protect its citizens from terrorist attacks.” That sentence would be repeated in a January report from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), “Pro...

The Idea of ISIS Will Outlive the Caliphate

NOVANEWS BY SIMON COTTEE THE ATLANTICREAD BIO Despite claiming responsibility for attacks like the one in London, the group is dying. It will retain the ability to inspire. The Islamic State is claiming responsibility for the London attack that left three people and the attacker dead on Wednesday. “It is believed that this attacker acted alone,” Prime Minister Theresa May said, adding that the British-born man, already known to authorities, was inspired by “Islamist terrorism.” For its part, ISIS called the attacker its “soldier” in a report published by its Amaq news agency in both Arabic and English. The caliphate, it seemed, was eager to signal to a broad audience that it was as busy and effective as ever. The facts, however, tell a different story. Back in 2014, God was o...

S A A Repels Large-Scale ISIS Advance On Khanaser-Aleppo Road

NOVANEWS   …from SouthFront On January 26, the ISIS terrorist group made a fierce attempt to cut off a supply line to the government held city of Aleppo near Khanaser. Initially ISIS units seized a few villages and even came close to cutting off the road, but pro-government forces, backed up by Russian warplanes, repelled the ISIS push and kept control over this vital supply line. According to local sources, government forces are set to launch a counter-offensive in the area as soon as they regroup and gain reinforcements. The ISIS attack was an attempt to ease military pressure which the terrorist group faces near al-Bab. Government troops liberated another village – Madiuna – southeast of the ISIS stronghold.

Why the West is Helping ISIS Spread Hysteria Post-Berlin Attack

NOVANEWS By Tony Cartalucci  The Washington Post – among others – hit the ground running in the wake of an apparent terrorist attack in Germany’s capital of Berlin before evidence was forthcoming and even before German police arrested a suspect. A truck plowed into a crowded Christmas market, killing 12 and injuring many more in what resembled an attack in Nice, France where a truck likewise plowed into a crowd killing 86 and injuring hundreds more. Spreading ISIS Propaganda The Washington Post’s article and others like it followed the self-proclaimed “Islamic State” (ISIS) allegedly taking credit for the incident. Undeterred by a lack of evidence, the Washington Post and other media outlets – eager to capitalize on the attack to further Western narratives – concluded that the attack w...
