Sunni Islamists call for the genocide of Alawites in Lattakia

Things have gone out of control in Syria. Across the entire country, Syrian religious minorities are living through hell on earth under Jolani’s regime. They are facing a silent genocide, and we have a debt to break this silence.

People are being detained, humiliated, executed, and tortured simply for their religious beliefs under the pretext of cleansing the “remnants of the old regime.” In reality, the thousands of people being detained illegally are only “guilty” of their religious beliefs. There are no warrants or courts anymore. The terrorists of HTS and SNA have taken full control of the country and are free to do whatever they wish. They are mentally disturbed individuals who believe that the more crimes they commit against Alawites and Christians, the more God will reward them.

At the same time, however, even though minorities are very vocal (as much as it is possible for them to be, under a regime of censorship unseen in Syria before) about the situation and mourn their dead every day, the stance of the Sunni community in Syria is far from flattering for them and certainly quite morally shameful. Instead of being vocal and supporting their fellow citizens who are suffering under the regime, the majority of the Syrian Sunni population prefers to treat these events with a guilty omertà over what is happening.

Many of them simply propose blind obedience toward Jolani’s regime under the foolish pretext of “national unity,” while keeping complete silence over the fact that such “unity” tends to exclude people with different political and religious beliefs. They even have the audacity to proclaim that religious minorities who ask for international protection over human rights violations by this government are “traitors,” ignoring that the party in power literally invited all countries to invade Syria and sell everything just to overthrow the previous “regime” — and they are already selling everything. The reality is, Syria as a nation has already disappeared for good and has been drained of all its national sovereignty. To speak of national unity under the current regime constitutes pure hypocrisy.

Under such circumstances, a brave man named Bassam Nasir Aldin from Jableh decided to honor his dignity and resist the beasts who detain thousands of his people, execute, or torture them simply for their religious beliefs under the pretext of securing the government from “Assad supporters” or justifying extrajudicial killings by individualizing them. In his act of resistance, he took two Hayat Tahrir al-Sham terrorists with him, while at the same time, he detonated himself.

Most of the Alawites condemned and distanced themselves from this event, as most of them prefer to act peacefully, either out of fear or simply because they seek peace after years of exhaustion from war. However, this did not prevent the Syrian Sunni community from organizing takfiri protests. Instead, they decided to demonstrate their “tolerance” and “national unity” — which they pretend to care about — by marching in the streets, fully armed, chanting slogans calling for the genocide of the Alawites and shouting slogans that not only promote violence but also advocate rape against Alawite women.  Below here we can witness the protest:

Syria: Terrorist HTS extrajudicial tortures and killings of people

Since the fall of Syria on 8th of December 2024, Al Jolani’s terrorist groups have turned the country into a jungle of extrajudicial killings. Literally any member of the terrorist groups can accuse anyone for anything and then torture and kill him. In the first part of the video, Jacob-al-Jahni is ...

As we can see by the end of the video, the Sunni protesters were not just chanting slogans of religious hatred but were also armed. Yet, the terrorist “army” of HTS and Jolani’s regime, which tries so hard to project a “civilized” image to the world, did not even bother to arrest any of them. At the same time, however, they systematically detain unarmed people belonging to religious minorities under completely nonsensical pretexts. The regime has forbidden people from taking videos or pictures of such events and is outraged at the protests for recording them. In reality, the only reason they are outraged is because their silent genocide against our Alawite and Christian brothers is being exposed by such videos.

We are dealing not only with a genocidal regime but also with a large part of the population that has been so radicalized by the political ideology of Sunni Islamism that they are not only prone to terrorism but also complicit in the genocide, whether actively or passively. International protection for our Alawite and Christian brothers is not only a moral cause for us but also our debt to human dignity.

In the name of humanity: Stop the Genocide against Alawites!!!
