GAZA HOLOCAUST

NOVANEWS Gaza Blog, January 2010 – Day 1.   After flying to Cairo and then going by bus on a four-hour drive through the Sinai desert, we arrived at the Rafah crossing point between Egypt and Gaza at 1 pm today, Friday, and presented our passports.  Although we had been reassured that everything was arranged and we would be allowed into Gaza, most of us were secretly worried that there would be some last-minute hitch and we would be refused entry or at least kept waiting for a long time.  However it all went very smoothly. It took us no more than half an hour to get through the Egyptian side and onto the bus that takes you across the actual border. I should explain that there are seven crossing points into Gaza, six from Israel – most of which are closed at the moment – and just one fr...

MID-EAST TALKS & THE PALEATINIAN EXODUS

NOVANEWS September 30, 2010 by Dr. Ashraf Ezzat   The exodus of the Palestinians from Palestine is the Israeli idea of an everlasting peace. By Dr. Ashraf Ezzat FM Clinton at an opening session of the Mid-East talks. I don’t really believe that a lot of people will be surprised to find out that the current Palestinian-Israeli peace talks has come to a dead end once again. Israel’s decision not to extend a ban on West Bank settlement building has nearly called off the peace talks that America was trying hard to boost. The unwillingness of the Israeli side to freeze the construction of new settlements on the occupied Palestinian west bank has instead frozen the yet to start peace negotiations. The USA – as usual- said that it was “disappointed” by Israel’s decision not to extend a ban on W...

NAZI'S USED BANNED ARMS IN CRACKDOWN

NOVANEWS Sep 30, 2010  Gestapo soldier holds a tear gas canister during a demonstration by Palestinian and foreign activists. Locals in an Zionist-occupied neighborhood find traces of banned weaponry, used by Zio=Nazi forces in their crackdown on a recent wave of protests. The Silwan neighborhood of East al-Quds (Jerusalem) has been swept with outrage at a curfew imposed following the troops' killing of two Palestinians on September 22, the Palestinian Ma'an news agency reported. The order prevented movement between al-Quds' neighborhoods. The area of the clashes was scattered after the suppression with expired and oxidized tear gas canisters. Medical staff said those injured in the incidents displayed signs of poisoning. Residents, meanwhile, reported an increase in the symptoms of fatigu...

SEVEN DEADLY MYTHS

NOVANEWS September 28, 2010 Trailer: Seven Deadly Myths  "We didn't come to them [the Palestinian villagers in the Negev] to collect their taxes. We came to inherit the land from the hands of strangers. That was the basis of our thinking. To inherit the land. And he who inherits, dispossess others. That's why we wouldn't let them return" - Amnon Noiman

NOVANEWS Dear All, The big story of the day in Israel today is not the boat to Gaza but Israel’s Foreign Minister’s speech at the UN, in which he declared that peace would take decades, maybe 3.  This at a time when Israel’s PM is supposedly trying to reach a peace agreement with the Palestinians.  Netanyahu distanced himself from Lieberman’s remarks, saying, apparently, that Lieberman had not notified him of what he was going to say when addressing the UN.  I have not included info on this below. But while I was searching for reports about today’s boat to Gaza, I learned from Ynet that Mairead Maguire had been denied entry into Israel.  That news was only in 2 of the dozen or so newspapers that I read on line—the one below in Ynet and in the Independent.  As for the boat, I enclose 3 repo...
