HAMAS: ANOTHER NAZI HOLOCAUST ON GAZA

NOVANEWS Hamas:Another Gaza war would cost Israel dearly October 29, 2010  by crescentandcross  Most Popular Content All   Speaking In Tongues–The Deadly Dialect of the Zionist Language Stuxnet Computer Worm–Israel’s Attempt To Silence Iran on 9/11 or Veiled Threat to the Entire World? Pastor Terry Jones--All Bark and No Bite When It Comes To Speaking The Truth About Islam and Judaism Israel had accused Hamas movement, which has been ruling the Gaza Strip since June 2007, of trying to get more arms and weapons to the salient to use in carrying out attacks against Israeli territory. “It is the right of Hamas to have all kinds of weapons to defend itself,” Zahar said. “If Israel carries out another war in the future, it should think thousand of times before carrying out a war.” He...

NOVANEWS Dear Friends, Win some, lose some.  Item 1 reports a loss.  Notwithstanding Desmond Tutu’s eloquent plea to the Cape Town opera not to perform Porgy and Bess in Israel, not to perform at all in Israel until it ended its apartheid regime, the opera company has rejected his appeal.  I must say that this surprised me.  I thought that if there is one country, or opera company in that country, that Tutu’s appeal and those of others not to come would stir to act on it, it would be a South African opera company.  Of course there is no question that to break a contract would have cost the company money—very likely a great deal, but is that all that counts? Item 2 consists of reports about several recent occurrences in the West Bank—things that you should know.  None of these is long.  Jus...

TRADE UNION IN THE MIDDLE EAST?

NOVANEWS One of my regular readers has reminded me that I don't cover trade unions enough. I thought I would have a look at trade union rights in the Middle East, as it's not a topic covered much in the Western media. In the West, we take for granted what we have, and what others fought for, 8 hour working day, holidays, etc, the basics, so the Middle East, with its untold wealth and resources is a good starting place. Despite a massive population, maybe as much as 300 million, we hear little news of the situation of ordinary people and workers in the Middle East. Not unsurprisingly trade unions and trade unionists have many difficulties in the Middle East, their legal rights are often nonexistent, they are persecuted, attacked and even assassinated. Attitudes towards trade unions and t...

99% OF THE RACIST SEPARATION WALL BUILT ON ' 67 OCCUPIED LAND

NOVANEWS October 28, 2010  by crescentandcross CAIRO — The Arab League warned that the separation wall built by Israel will devour fertile farmland in the West Bank province of Qalqiliya, within the framework of a systematic plan to take control of Palestine’s most fertile and strategically important lands. The report, issued by the Arab League’s Palestine department, confirmed that Israel is currently building the eastern section of the apartheid wall in order to annex a larger area of fertile land in Qalqiliya. The report said that Israeli authorities closed off wall gate no. 1037 built in north Qalqiliya along the Tsofim colony in the beginning of last March, obstructing the passage of Palestinians as a service to the settlers, and damaging at least 3,500 dunums of Palestinian land be...

THE NAZI'S IN GAZA 'Shoah'

NOVANEWS 365 AM: the Gaza war, live 365 AM Teaser from Abdallah Omeish on Vimeo. In the winter of 2008, two days after Christmas, Israel launched one of it’s deadliest and most controversial wars. Whilst preventing the people of Gaza from fleeing the territory it proceeded to rain missiles down on them using some of the most sophisticated weaponry available. Trapped with them, were the only two foreign reporters inside Gaza at the time. They found themselves locked inside a war zone as the only voices able to reach the English-speaking world. This is their incredible, and as yet untold, story. Ayman Mohyeldin, a 30-year old American citizen and Sherine Tadros, a 29-year old British national lived through the war – for three weeks reporting for Al Jazeera English amidst an international m...

Item 1 has its own brief intro preceding the report.  Items 2 and 3 are about East Jerusalem, where things are not looking good.  Will Israel succeed to drive Palestinians from there, too?  If not it won’t be for lack of trying. Item 4 is Dov Weisglass telling us to take Thomas Friedman’s warning seriously.  This has double importance since Weisglass—a lawyer, business man, and in the past, senior advisor to Ariel Sharon—is no less Zionist than is Friedman.  Among other things that Weisglass quotes is, “Support for Israel is declining among US government circles, the general public, and the Jewish community, especially among y...
