Posted by: John Phoenix By Keith Bennett Successes on the home front In the recent period, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) has made marked progress across the fields of economic construction and improving the people’s living standards, as well as in national defence and diplomacy and external relations. Regarding economic construction and living standards, I was able to visit the DPRK twice last year, in April and October, after an absence of nearly eight years.
