What Haniya´s killing could mean to the crisis in Gaza

The assassination of the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” Ismail Haniyeh in the Iranian capital Tehran added more sadness to the atmosphere of the Gaza Strip.
Mr. Haniyeh was killed less than a day after Israel carried out a separate strike on a Hezbollah commander in a suburb of Beirut, in retaliation for a strike over the weekend in an Israeli-controlled town that killed 12 children and teenagers.
The crime was received with reactions of anger at all Palestinian levels because of the great respect and appreciation that Haniyeh, nicknamed “Abu Al-Abd”, enjoys.
