NOVANEWS By Ian Greenhalgh  The with-holding of 2000 images from the prisons of Iraq seeks to hide a very dark secret. After a FOIA request by the ACLU and a subsequent long legal battle, a US District Court judge ordered the Dept of Defense to release 2000 photos taken in Iraqi prisons between 2003 and 2006 during internal investigations into mistreatment of prisoners.
