NOVANEWS By: Leith Aboufadel The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) uncovered another large batch of weapons that were left behind by the rebel forces in southern Syria. According to Russia’s Sputnik News Agency, the Syrian Arab Army seized several anti-aircraft missiles that were left behind by the rebels near the Jordanian border. The anti-aircraft missiles are usually modified by the rebels and used later as surface-to-surface missiles. Below is the video of the large weapons cache that was seized by the Syrian Arab Army this week: Syrian Army captures rebel anti-aircraft missiles near Jordanian border (video) The Syrian Army has recently uncovered a large quantity of weapons near the Nassib Crossing in the Dara’a Governorate. Most of these weapons were left behind by the...

SYRIAN ARMY REPELS ZIO-RODENT ATTACK ON AL-BA'ATH CITY AND KHAAN ARNABA

NOVANEWS Al-Ba'ath City:  It's all out of the bag now.  Jabhat Al-Nusra is part and parcel of the Zionist plan for the Golan Heights.  Oh, these Ashkenazi Hebrew-impersonators probably shudder at the idea of aiding Takfeeri cannibals, but, have to swallow a bitter pill for the sake of their tin-pot settler state. Yesterday, with Zionist connivance, (Monzer says SAA-MI intercepted a Druze communicating with a JN terrorist over known Zionist lines), a unit of about 14 cockroaches attacked SAA soldiers entrenched in a well-fortified base just south of Al-Ba'ath City.  A pilot-less drone was deployed for surveillance and sent back images of the rodents moving in a row of Toyota flatbeds festooned with 23mm cannons.  The terrorists also unleashed a barrage of mortar fire from rear positions in...

Syrian Army Reportedly Finds Cache of French Weapons in Liberated Eastern Ghouta

NOVANEWS Syrian forces involved in a mopping-up operation in recently-freed areas of Eastern Ghouta have come across a large arms depot including weapons made in France, Fars News Agency has reported, citing field sources. The French-made weapons and ammunition were found during the military’s operations to sweep the towns of Modira and Mesraba of militants, the sources said. The discovery of a cache of French-made weapons comes following a report by the Syrian Army Monday that the military had found a clandestine workshop used for the manufacture chemical weapons in the village of Aftris. Paris has made no secret of its weapons deliveries to Syrian ‘rebels’, with illicit deliveries continuing in 2012 despite a European embargo. In a 2015 interview, then-President Francois Hollande admi...

Syrian Army Thwarts Nazi regime Plan to Control Mutual Border

NOVANEWS On Saturday buses arrived in the villages of Mugr al-Mir and Mazaria Beit Jinn in the so-called ‘Hernon Pocket’ to transport the fighters of al-Nusra Front to Idlib and Daraa governorates. The pocket extended into government-held territory southwest of Damascus from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. According to a Syrian Arab Army (SAA) military strategic analyst, Brig. Gen. Heitham Hassun, the move will help liberate the southwestern part of Syria from terrorists. “This will allow [the SAA] to free the entire southwestern region of Damascus from terrorists,” Brig. Gen. Hassun told Sputnik Arabic. “It is especially important to take under the SAA’s control [the territories] north of the province of Quneitra, which the Israelis had planned to manage with the assistance of the ...

Syrian Army with Support of Russia and Iran Defeating (ISIS) ‘Video’

NOVANEWS Syrian Army with Support of Russia and Iran Defeating Islamic State (ISIS-Daesh) in Central Syria 'Video' By South Front   The Syrian-Iranian-Russian alliance has achieved a large progress in its operations against ISIS in the province of Homs. On August 20, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) liberated the key held village of Humaymah, which had been controlled by ISIS near the Iraqi border. The SAA allegedly lost a bulldozer and an unknown number of fighters during the clashes for the area. On August 21, government troops continued operations in order to seize the T2 pumping station that remained that last valuable ISIS strong point in this part of the  administrative border between the provinces of Homs and Deir Ezzor. On August 20, the SAA Tiger Forces, backed up by Russi...

SYRIAN ARMY ENJOYS FIRE CONTROL OVER AL-SUKHNA

NOVANEWS SYRIAN ARMY ENJOYS FIRE CONTROL OVER AL-SUKHNA; EYELESS IN THE MIDDLE EAST, BULLY-BOY TRUMP FLAILS AGAINST IMAGINARY ENEMIES; Ziad Fadel Donald Trump is obsessed with Iran and North Korea.  Because he doesn’t read anything historical, or even political, he relies on late night Fox programming and the National Enquirer.  This is the leader of the most powerful nation on earth who has access to daily intelligence summaries prepared by his “highly trained professionals”.  Leave aside the fact that all American intelligence agencies have been penetrated by Zionist sympathizers, it remains puzzling why the president chooses to rely on the “fake media” instead of his own American, ultra-professional lie factories. I cannot tell you who has got Trump’s ear on Iran, but, it must b...

Syrian Army, Hezbollah reaches border with Iraq for the first time in years

NOVANEWS By Chris Tomson | Al-Masdar News | Late on Friday afternoon, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), Hezbollah and allied Iraqi paramilitary contingents dashed through southeastern Homs and reached an Iraqi border point, thus slicing adrift the frontline between rebel forces based in the Al-Tanf region and ISIS militants in the neighboring Deir Ezzor governorate. Unopposed by the US Airforce and its vetted Syrian proxies, the SAA and its allies drove through over 40 kilometers of abandoned desert territory and managed to link up with an Iraqi garrison across the border. The advance was confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense and an Hezbollah-linked outlet moments ago. Effectively, the SAA is now able to reopen trade between Damascus and Baghdad. Government forces have not controlled ...

Syrian Army Reaches Border with Iraq ”Video”

NOVANEWS Syrian Army Reaches Border with Iraq, Strategic Implications, Failure of US Plan to Create a Buffer Zone Controlled by Western Backed Militants? By: South Front On June 9, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allied militia groups reached the border with Iraq in the area north of the US-led coalition garrisons at the village of At Tanf and Al Zquf. This advance dramatically changed the strategic situation in southeastern Syria and de-facto allowed the Syrian-Iranian-Russian alliance to win the race for the border with Iraq. The key goal of the US-led coalition actions near the border was to prevent the SAA from linking up with the allied Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) operating in Iraq and to build a buffer zone controlled by Western-backed militant groups between the tw...

Syrian Army Advancing in Raqqa Province, Withdrawal of ISIS ”Video”

NOVANEWS By: South Front ISIS terrorists have lost large chunks of territories to Syrian government forces in the provinces of Raqqa and Homs. In the province of Raqqa, the Syrian Army’s Tiger Forces reached the area controlled by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) west of Tabqa after liberating about two dozens of villages, including Rumthan, Bir Mulayhan, Shatnah, al-Qusur, al-Muhaddad, Jubb al-Khafi and Husayn al-Mikhallaf, south of Maskanah. The government forces made this advance after a full withdrawal of ISIS members from the area. Now, the Tiger Forces are able to develop momentum in the direction of the Ithriyah-Tabqa road, further clearing areas east of Khanasir. This will allow to shorten the frontline and to set a foothold for the operation against ISIS at ...

Syrian Army Tiger Forces Prevail against ISIS in Aleppo ”Video”

NOVANEWS By South Front   The Bazreh area in eastern Damascus has been fully liberated from militants. On Monday, the last batch of militants and their supporters left the area and Barzeh was taken under full control by government forces. With the liberation of Bazreh, government forces made a large step in a wider effort aimed at securing the Damascus countryside from various terrorist threats. According to some pro-government sources, the area of Jobar controlled mostly by Hayat Tahir al-Sham (HTS) terrorists, excluded from the ceasefire agreement, could become the next target for the Syrian army. Meanwhile, the Syrian military has deployed the 4th Armoured Division and its special forces known as al-Ghaith Forces in Daraa aiming to repel the ongoing advance of HTS and it...
