In the last Digest (March 17th) a link was given to the UN publication "Israel Practices Towards the Palestinian People and the Question of Apartheid". This was an important, fearless and fact-based 74-page report by the UN agency Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, based in Beirut. It was highly critical of the state of Israel and therefore doomed to a short life.
Nobody realised just how short that life would be, and it was disgracefully withdrawn after less than three days and there is now no trace of it on any UN website.
