NOVANEWS October 28, 2010 by crescentandcross PESHAWAR: At least 1,863 people have been killed so far in 184 attacks by the United States drones in Pakistani territory since June 18, 2004, official sources disclosed on Tuesday. There has been an unprecedented surge in the drone attacks during the current year. A total of 749 people have been killed in 89 attacks during 2010, according to the provincial home ministry sources in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial capital Peshawar. The month of September witnessed the maximum number of attacks — 16 followed by 11 drone attacks in January. NOVANEWS Report: Israel planned explosion at Iranian missile site  October 27, 2010 by crescentandcross By JPOST.COM STAFF  10/25/2010 An explosion that killed 18 members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on October 12 was ordered by the Mossad, French newspaper Le Figaro suggested on Monday.  Another cause for the blast mentioned by the paper was a targeted Israeli air raid. Official Iranian reports stated that the explosion occurred after a fire broke out in a weapons depot. Le Figaro also alleged that the explosion occurred at a secret missile site for the long-range Shahab-3, capable of being modified to carry a nuclear payload and striking Israel. The Imam Ali missile base is located in western Iran near the city of Khoramabad.

The Kenya Alliance for Advancement of Rights of Children said that cases of child abuse at the Coast had been on the increase and there was need to put in place harsh penalties against the perpetrators.
