I had that impression since quite a while when I look at judgments where claims have been thrown out against the preferred party. There is little point in bringing a claim here in the UK, against a UK publisher or any publisher that is favoured by the British judiciary unless you have tons of money, I mean, until you can buy the world so to speak. It is better here in the UK, that if somebody libels you, libel them back, wait until they sue you and then make a counter-claim if you have time.
