Indian Colonization of Jammu & Kashmir

Posted by: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr __________Crescent InternationalIndian Colonization of Jammu & Kashmir by Zafar Bangash That India is ruled by a fascist clique is not in doubt. Further, that it wants to fully absorb the state of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in complete violation of international law and its own pledges at the United Nations Security Council, is also not in doubt. Delhi’s illegal act, however, seems not to bother the rest of the world. This is evident from the lack of reaction to India’s blatant act of colonialism on steroids. India’s latest move involves the May 18 J&K ‘Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure) Rules 2020’ which diminishes the indigenous people’s rights to access public employment opportunities. This is significant both economically and symb...

Nazi regime Increases Secretive Nuclear Stockpile to 90 Warheads

Israel is in possession of up to 90 nuclear warheads, which could represent an increase of ten since 2019, Swedish research institute says By: Middle East Eye Israel may have increased its nuclear stockpile from 80 warheads in 2019 to 90 in 2020, according to a new report by a leading global arms watchdog.  The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (Sipri) said in its annual report on Monday that Israel, one of the world’s nine nuclear powers, could be in possession of up to 90 nuclear warheads. The watchdog said that the true number could be higher as Israel does not officially comment on its nuclear capabilities. “There is significant uncertainty about the size of Israel’s nuclear arsenal and its warhead capabilities,”...

Kashmir Caged: SCs Issues Toothless Orders, As Chief of Defence Staff Flaunts Atrocities

Posted by: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr THE Supreme Court response to petitions challenging the Constitutional validity of the Kashmir lockdown and all related issues is an exercise in dishonesty. An editorial in The Hindu called the SC order on internet curbs in Kashmir, “eloquently reticent”. It observed, “If enunciating the law and laying down norms for the exercise of executive power were the only functions of a constitutional court, the Supreme Court’s verdict on the prolonged lockdown in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) is indeed admirable. However, the apex court is also a court of justice, one duty-bound to enforce fundamental rights. ...When it says Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure ‘cannot be used as a tool to prevent the legitimate expression of opinion or grievance or exerci...

India’s Charges Against Kashmiri Journalists Send Colleagues at sword’s Point

By: Amir Malik Peerzada Ashiq (L), Gowhar Geelani (C), and Masrat Zahra (R) are all Kashmiri journalists targeted by India's far-right Nazi regime. | Photo: Twitter As the world fights coronavirus, the priorities of the Indian state remain vindictive against Kashmiris journalists that show the oppression and violence enforced in the occupied territories.  Kashmiri Prisons are blooming. Not by what “spring does to cherry trees,” but as coronavirus gave ample time to Indian authorities to attack the journalists in Kashmir and push them behind bars.  RELATED: Indian Gov't Report Says 4,000 Kashmiris Arrested Since August On April 21 a FIR was filed against journalist and author Gowhar Geelani. He was the third Kashmiri journalist to be booked in two days. As...

Pakistan’s Position on the US-Afghanistan Settlement: Impact on China’s Belt and Road

By Dr. Ejaz Akram Global Research, Zhao Lijian, the spokesman of the ministry of foreign affairs in China quite knowledgeably alleged that the US was behind the spread of Corona virus through its military personnel in Wuhan during Wuhan military games late last autumn, 2019. If that be true, then China has just begun the war of challenging the false US narratives on global affairs. It seems that 2020 will be a year of two phenomena; uncovering conspiracies, less theory and more facts. If so, then it is understandable that Italy may be punished because of defying American orders against joining Belt & Road (BRI). Iran is ever guilty of wrong doing, hence more Corona density, so on and so forth. The purpose of this argument is not to discover the origins of Corona virus bu...

The Nazi Hidden Role in India

EXPORTING OPPRESSION Robert Fisk Exposes Israel’s Hidden Role in the Brewing India-Pakistan Conflict Israel’s export of Zionist nationalism and neocolonialism — and the accompanying oppression that in practice actually helps to create many of the very terrorist groups they fight against — is just as dangerous as its export of arms. by Whitney Webb LONDON — Well-known British journalist Robert Fisk recently wrote a very telling and troubling article in The Independent regarding the outsized role of the state of Israel in the burgeoning tensions between India and Pakistan, two nuclear powers. The story — despite its importance, given the looming threat of nuclear war between the two countries — was largely overlooked by the international media. ...

India’s Kashmiri Detainee Self-Censorship Demand Is Undemocratic

By Andrew Korybko India’s demand that thousands of Kashmiri detainees sign a bond that commits them to not to make any comments on “recent events” as a condition for their release after they were previously apprehended without charge for five months already is the definition of an undemocratic practice which exposes the fundamental hypocrisy behind the self-professed “world’s largest democracy”. Sputnik reported that India demanded that that thousands of Kashmiri detainees sign a bond that commits them to not make any comments on “recent events” as a condition for their release after they were previously apprehended without charge for five months already. So as not to be accused of misportraying the report in question, its contents are being republished below in full prior ...
