SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF ZIO=NAZI HOLOCAUST ON GAZA

NOVANEWS Local media campaign and vigil remember and protest Israel’s 2008 assault on Gaza December 27 – On the second anniversary of Israel’s three-week assault on Gaza, Seattle-area activists are launching a Metro bus ad campaign to expose the use of U.S. taxpayer money to support Israel’s ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.Inspired by similar public advertising campaigns in Chicago, San Francisco, Albuquerque and other cities, the Seattle Mideast Awareness Campaign is launching the advertising campaign aimed at securing equal rights for Palestinians and Israelis, as well as an end to United States military aid to Israel, which continues at a time of economic crisis and severe budget cuts that have resulted in massive unemployment.  A companion website at www.stop30billion-Sea...

GAZA DIARY, DAY FIVE: SUNOUND

NOVANEWS   I woke up today, walked out my door. To the right was the insanely vivid blue of the Mediterranean. Omar al-Mokhtar was quiet. I jumped in a cab, went to a demonstration, and on the way heard about the latest sordid, crappy little thing the Israeli army had done to the people living here: six fishermen were kidnapped off the coast of Gaza City late last night, maybe as I was looking at the stars cutting through the black weft of the night sky, so bizarrely visible in Gaza when in a normal city there’d be far too much light pollution to see the stars so starkly and clearly. One blinked oddly and too brightly, too close to be a star: a drone, hovering over the water slightly to the south. North, from the roof, I could see the flames licking out from the rig drilling the oil discov...

ENCYLOPEDIA OF THE ZIO=NAZI HOLOCAUST IN GAZA

NOVANEWS First ever encyclopedia documenting the Gaza war released Sunday December 27, 2010 by crescentandcross in Uncategorized     Palestinian Information Center   The “creativity” studies and training foundation released Sunday the first ever electronic encyclopedia that documents Israel’s late 2008 early 2009 war on the Gaza Strip to mark the war’s second anniversary as it approaches. The encyclopedia, dubbed “the Gaza Holocaust”, is the product of drawn out efforts by the foundation’s strategic research and studies center, said foundation head Mohammed al-Madhoun. “More than 120 of the foundation’s field researchers contributed to this remarkable work, as well as many more from research centers, rights foundations, and ministries.” The idea, sparked at the time of Israel’s aggression...

AN OPEN LETTER FROM GAZA: TWO YEARS AFTER THE MASSACRE, A DEMAND FOR JUSTICE

NOVANEWS  Besieged Gaza, Palestine   27. December.2010   We the Palestinians of the Besieged Gaza Strip, on this day, two years on from Israel's genocidal attack on our families, our houses, our roads, our factories and our schools,  are saying enough inaction, enough discussion, enough waiting – the time is now to hold Israel to account for its ongoing crimes against us. On the 27th of December 2008, Israel began an indiscriminate bombardment of the Gaza Strip. The assault lasted 22 days, killing 1,417 Palestinians, 352 of them children, according to main-stream Human Rights Organizations.   For a staggering 528 hours, Israeli Occupation Forces let loose their US-supplied F15s, F16s, Merkava Tanks, internationally prohibited White Phosphorous, and bombed and invaded the small Palestinian ...

FREE GAZA

NOVANEWS   The Zio=Nazo siege of Gaza is one of the most brutal manifestations of the Zionist Occupation. Since 2000, the Gaza Strip has been subject to a series of Zionist closure policies designed to isolate and restrict the movement of people and goods. Zio=Nazi's imposed further economic restrictions on Gaza after Palestinians elected Hamas into government in 2006. When Hamas took control in 2007, the Gaza Strip was placed under military siege by Zionism – blockaded by land, sea and air. The siege of Gaza has been identified as a war crime and a crime against humanity, as it punishes innocent civilians for offences they have not committed. The siege has created a humanitarian catastrophe. Four out of five Gazan's are dependent on food aid to survive. Zio=Nazi's war crimes in Gaza have ...

WELCOME TO GAZA

NOVANEWS   Some of you may have noticed a little quietude lately on Jewbonics. I was storing up a surprise, and like any surprise, it’s a little easier to keep a secret when you don’t talk too much. Here’s what’s up: I just spent the last nine days in Cairo waiting for the press office to process my tanseek, breathing in too much small particulate matter, and generally trying not to get too anxious and agitated while I was waiting for permission to go to Gaza. On Tuesday, I secured my tanseek. On Wednesday, I picked it up, rushed too slowly to Egyptian Rafah, gave up trying to get in to Gaza that day, and spent the night in al-Arish. At 9:30 AM on Thursday I got picked up by an anarchist Bedouin cab-driver (Bedouin are natural anarchists, and the Sinai Bedouin make a point of listing the g...

HAIDER EID: GAZA-TWO YEARS AFTER THE HORROR!

NOVANEWS   December 24, 2010   Gilad Atzmon http://www.zcommunications.org/gaza-two-years-after-the-horror-by-haidar-eid This week marks the second anniversary of the horror inflicted on the people of the Gaza Strip. Nothing has changed! Gaza has returned to its pre-invasion state of siege, confronted with the usual international indifference. Two years after the Israeli assault that lasted 22 long days and dark nights, during which its brave people were left alone to face one of the strongest armies in the world, Gaza no longer makes the news. Its people die slowly, its children are malnourished, its water contaminated, and yet it is deprived even of a word of sympathy from the President the United States and the leaders of Europe. The dehumanization of the Palestinians of Gaza continues...

AUTO DRAFT

NOVANEWS The issue that I am uncomfortable with - and this also applies to @R Ross's comment - is the absolute distinction between victim and victimiser. It suggests a total lack of agency to the Palestinians and by implication a complete lack of any responsibility. Now the Palestinians are incontestably the weaker party in the conflict and I do agree that Israel has the greater weight of responsibility on them. However, the Palestinians are not wholly without agency. The actions that they take have consequences, even if they are not able to dramatically alter the situation as Israel can. For one thing, they have support from other states. The support Hamas receives from Iran is modest but far from trivial. The overwhelming sympathy for the Palestinian cause from Muslims worldwide and inc...

GAZA: THERE IS NO WORK

NOVANEWS In This Issue... For Gaza tailors, market is flooded, external markets are (still) banned and 96% of their jobs are lost. More Recent Articles Search The Only Democracy? For Gaza tailors, market is flooded, external markets are (still) banned and 96% of their jobs are lost.   From Gisha’s Gaza Gateway What happens to industry when you open a market to consumer products but restrict raw materials and ban export? What doesn’t happen is economic recovery. The Israeli cabinet decision to ease the closure on the Gaza Strip did not change the sweeping ban on Gaza exports. While industrial raw materials were allowed into Gaza beginning in July, the limited capacity of the crossings meant only small quantities entered (raw materials were 4% of the total amount of goods th...
