Libya: Zionist puppet Sisi threatens to intervene militarily

By: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr On 21 June 2020, after reviewing his troops, Zionist puppet Abdel Fattah al-Sissi said in a televised statement that a military intervention in support of the only elected Libyan authorities, those of the Tobruk Parliament, would be legitimate. He explicitly threatened the al-Sarraj government, which is recognized by the United Nations. The al-Sarraj government is made up of Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda jihadists who facilitated NATO’s overthrow of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya in 2011. In July 2013, after gigantic protests, Zionist puppet Abdel Fattah al-Sissi toppled President Mohammed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood allies, who had rigged the Egyptian presidential elections the previous year. He was later confirmed as president by a regular election, b...

'Arab' League Urges Ceasefire in Libya

By: Sammi Ibrahem, Sr House of the Zio-Wahhabi rat's The 'Arab' League of Foreign Ministers called Tuesday for a truce in Libya as the warring sides, with the support of their foreign backers mobilise near Sirte, the main oil region, and threaten an escalation. “Libya is passing through a dangerous turn in the course of its conflict,” 'Arab' League Secretary-General Zionist puppet Ahmed Aboul Gheit said in a statement. “The military option will not achieve victory for any side … and the military action will not bring peace or establish stability on the Libyan soil,” Zionist puppet Gheit told an online emergency meeting called by Egypt to debate the latest developments in the North African country. “The political solution is the only way to settle the Libyan crisis,” ZP Gheit ...

Egypt’s peace initiative for Libya will not succeed before the Turks and their stooges are roundly defeated

Nureddin Sabir, Editor, Redress Information & Analysis, writes: Amid much fanfare, Egyptian President Abd-al-Fattah al-Sisi has announced an initiative aimed at ending the war between the Libyan National Army (LNA) and the unelected Muslim Brotherhood / Al-Qaeda-backed “Government of National Accord” (GNA).  The initiative, launched on 6 June and touted by the Egyptian media and politicians as the silver bullet that will  bring peace to the neighbouring North African country, came at the end of a conference in Cairo attended by LNA chief Khalifa Haftar, the Speaker of the elected parliament, Aqila Salih, and several foreign diplomats, including from the United States, Russia, France and Italy. According to Sisi, the initiative includes a ceasefire starting on 8 June...

Turkey gears up for the occupation of Libya

Nureddin Sabir, Editor, Redress Information & Analysis, writes: Turkey’s Islamist and Ottoman revivalist President Recep Erdogan has learned from the lawless State of Israel that in world politics it is guns that count, not resolutions issued by international organisations or platitudinous statements of states.  So, while Egypt’s dithering American client, Abd-al-Fattah al-Sisi, and his sycophantic media are still indulging in an orgy of self-congratulations over Sisi’s stillborn peace initiative for Libya, Erdogan continues on his inexorable path to rob Libya of what remains of its wealth and in all probability turn it into a staging post for attacks by the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists against Egypt itself – the ultimate target of his Libyan adventure. Since Sisi’...

US set to create joint condominium with Turkey over Libya

Nureddin Sabir, Editor, Redress Information & Analysis, writes: The United States and its Turkish NATO ally are preparing to establish a joint condominium over Libya.  Libyan news website 218 TV reports that an unnamed senior US source has told it that President Donald Trump and his Turkish counterpart, the Islamist and Ottoman revivalist Recep Erdogan, have agreed to form “a joint working committee on Libya”.  According to the US source, the committee will start its work in the next few days and will include US State Department and Turkish Foreign Ministry officials, as well as intelligence and military commanders from Turkey and the so-called Africa Command (Africom), the US force dedicated to intervening in African countries. The joint committee “seems to be th...

Russia Deploys Military Fighter Aircraft to Libya

Russia recently deployed military fighter aircraft to Libya to support Russian state-sponsored private military contractors, or PMCs, operating on the ground there, U.S. Africa Command officials said. Russian military aircraft are likely to provide close air support and offensive fires for the Wagner Group PMC, which is supporting the Libyan National Army’s fight against the government of national accord. The Russian fighter aircraft arrived in Libya from an air base in Russia after transiting Syria. ”Russia is clearly trying to tip the scales in its favor in Libya. Just like I saw them doing in Syria, they are expanding their military footprint in Africa using government-supported mercenary groups like Wagner,” said Army Gen. Stephen Townsend, Africom’s commander. ”For too long, R...

Libya’s lawless government

Abdusalam Zubi (aka ‘Serantiyat’), left, with fellow Misratan militia leader, Mohamed al-Hassan, right. Criminal gangs, jihadists and human traffickers are propping up the UN-backed Government of National Accord. By: ASSEM MIHIRIG Libya is a complicated mess. With so many foreign footprints further obscuring an already confounding landscape, it is understandably difficult to make sense of the turmoil that has engulfed it since 2011. It certainly isn’t helpful that one side – the ‘internationally recognised’ Government of National Accord (GNA) – has hired several lobbying and PR firms (Mercury, Gotham, and Prime Policy Group) to help obscure shocking details about who is fighting on the ground, and why. Recent headlines characterising the current war in Trip...

Libya at the precipice of division between Turkey and Russia as the endgame approaches

By Nureddin SabirEditor, Redress Information & Analysis In an ominous sign that may herald darker days to come for Libya, the Libyan National Army (LNA) has announced on 4 June that it is withdrawing from the outskirts of the capital Tripoli in response to calls from a number of countries and organisations, and to facilitate the resumption of the so-called “5+5” talks, aimed at reaching a permanent ceasefire in Libya.  These talks, an outcome of the January 2020 Berlin conference, consist of five military officers appointed by the unelected Muslim Brotherhood / Al-Qaeda-backed “Government of National Accord” (GNA) and another five officers from the LNA. They have no deadline and carry the very real risk of transforming the Libyan conflict from an armed confl...
