The Italian Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano was forced to resign after the red-light scandal over his extramarital affair with the famous influencer and fashion entrepreneur Maria Rosaria Boccia.

The woman revealed to Italian newspapers that she was the minister’s lover after he had initially appointed her to become Advisor for Major Events and to have an important role in the G7 of Culture scheduled from September 19 to 21 in Pompeii, the city in Campania where Boccia herself was born.
For more than a week, far-right Minister Sangiuliano has tried to resist in his 110 thousand euro a year position also thanks to the support of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni who shares with him the militancy in the Fronte della Gioventù, a political formation of fascist inspiration of the Italian Social Movement later merged into Fratelli d’Italia.
“Whoever refers to the values of being a woman has the right and duty to defend their dignity as the other person (Meloni, ed.) did when she ended a deep relationship through a post on social media, after her partner (Giambruno, ed.) had violated a feeling of love. I wonder why I am treated with arrogance, pointed out without a name and surname,” says Boccia.
Meloni, already tried by the betrayal of her daughter’s father, has always been attracted by the esteem towards strong men like the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky who she has repeatedly welcomed at Palazzo Chigi, seat of the Presidency of the Council, with kisses and hugs.
Sangiuliano gave an interview to the national TV RAI crying over spilt milk and apologizing for the betrayal to his wife, hoping in this way to save his seat. But the pressure from the newspapers has become unbearable as they continue to reveal details about his relationship.
That’s why he decided to resign.
In his place, Prime Minister Meloni has appointed Alessandro Giuli, another journalist, who represents a negative record as he is the first Italian Minister of Culture to hold this position despite never having obtained a degree.
On the other hand, he is a member of the Leonardo Foundation, created by the Italian-American spa of the military industry and is therefore a reference man for the Weapons Lobby…
